Fitness Classes Timetable

Description of Classes
 
Indoor Cycling–This class offers you a high-energy form of fitness and simulates the varied challenges found in road cycling. The instructor will then take you through a full stretch routine. All levels.
 
Total Body Workout – This 1-hour class starts with an aerobic warm up and then moves on to a combination of resistance and toning exercises targeting the major muscle groups. This class will strengthen and condition muscles and improves your fitness level. All levels.
 
Instructors Choice - 45mins class that can be any of the normal studio classes. All levels
 
30/30– A unique class developed by Fitzpatrick Fitness Centre as the ultimate workout experience. 30 minutes intense Indoor Cycling mixed with a 30-minute circuit based session. Hits all the major muscle groups and is excellent for improving fitness.
 
Core Conditioning – A focus on the fundamentals of strengthening your core, balance and body awareness; allowing toning, development and increased performance levels in all fitness and sports related disciplines. A tough and rewarding class with endless benefits.
 
Aqua Aerobics - A cardiovascular workout in the Pool. Exercises and movements are harder and more demanding in the increased pressure of the water. Strengthens your heart, lungs, muscles and increases bone density. Ideal too for rehabilitation from injury as part of a prescribed program due to the non-impact nature of activity. All levels
 
Circuit Training - This 45 min class consists of a combination of aerobic and weight assisted stations.Aimed at increasing both endurance and strength in a motivational atmosphere.
 
Pilates – In a nutshell strong stomach and back and promotes flexibility and correct posture. Essential methods of improving balance and form as well as being relaxing and uplifting. Look towards attending our Beginners Pilates Class to as an introduction to this group exercise.
 
Rumba Dance - "Rumba Latina Dance Class has been developed by Colombian national, Carolina.
This intensive 60 min workout achieves fitness through dance.
It comprises a mix of latin dance & music styles (cumbia, merengue, salsas, reggeton, reggae etc.) and places an emphasis on toning hips, abs and tummy.

Golf Society
Starting In March 2010.We hold 5 outings throughout the year in which you can gain points (depending on performance) towards the Golfer of the year trophy.

In addition to the studio based classes Fitzpatrick Fitness
Centre also offers the following Social Groups: Running Club,
Hill-walking Group and Golf Society.
These groups regularly meet and host events in venues outside
