 As the parents of the groom for the Elaine Allen & Stuart Coull Wedding on the 3rd December this is a Thank You for the wonderful time we had over the wedding weekend.  Each and every one of the staff members were so welcoming and attentive, it was like being at a 'home away from home' as we would say in Scotland.  We particularly enjoyed the menu of PJs and the excellent quality of the food - your chicken maryland was just wonderful.  The day menu in the Lounge was just superb and my only regret is i did not have the time for the beautiful looking Afternoon Tea.  The wedding meal and service gets an excellent.  Our friends here in Scotland are still singing the praises of the venue.  Thank you all so much for making Elaine & Stuart's important day so special for everyone.

To Eilish and the Staff of Fitzpatrick Castle,

I am writing to express my gratitude for the absolutely fantastic wedding myself and my husband Ian had at the Castle on Saturday 26th November 2011.  Everything was absolutely perfect, from the delicious food to the beautiful reception area to the exquisite bridal suite but most of all we were so impressed by the staff.  Everybody, from reception staff to banqueting staff to the bar staff to the breakfast and waiting staff, were exceptionially friendly, professional and helpful.  You couldn't do enough for us or our guests, many of whom stayed for the entire weekend.

Over a third of our wedding party came from abroad and they were absolutely thrilled with the venue, the accommodation, the food but above all the warm welcome.  Our wedding served as a promotional event for the Castle as all our guests said that they would stay in the Castle again when they come back to Ireland and locals said they would highly recommend Fitzpatrick Castle as a wedding venue.

Every single guest stated that the exquisite meal you served up was the best food they had ever tasted at a wedding and this included some guests who are well used to fine dining.  The way the beef was presented and carved in the reception room was such a lovely touch.  People were so impressed that the waiting staff came around with seconds on the night.  The vegetables were fresh and cooked to perfection and every single course was a culinary success.

I would particularly like to mention the events manager Syed who was so attentive on the day and on the morning after.  Syed, you are truly gifted when it comes to this area of work and we felt completely relaxed on the day as we knew we were in safe hands. 

How could i send a letter of thanks without mentioning Eilish, our wedding angel!!  From the moment we walked through the doors of Fitzpatrick Castle during our search for the perfect wedding venue we knew we were onto a winner with Eilish.  Eilish, you are professional, super efficient and a wealth of knowledge and sensible suggestions which was a godsend when Bridezilla kicked in and i was getting bogged down with the annoying little details of wedding planning.  You could not do enough for myself and Ian.  No problem or thought was too small to bring to your attention and i never felt like i was annoying you or being silly, again a huge asset to an inexperienced bride to be.  You were calm and patient as the wedding drew closer and closer and you stayed friendly and very human at all times so i felt like i was planning my wedding with a very helpful close friend.  It was so lovely to see you there on the day of my wedding.  You even played with my daughter Beth who was acting up during the best man's speech.  These little acts make all the difference to a couple on their special day and this is what sets you and the staff at Fitzpatrick Castle apart from all the rest.  Eilish, you are truly worth your weight in gold and we will never forget all you did for us.

Fitzpatrick Castle will always remain special to myself & Ian as it provided our magical fairytale setting on one of the most important days of our lives.  We will be popping back in regularly, if only for a cup of coffee, to soak in the warm welcoming atmosphere and remind ourselves of the beautiful day we had.  We both want to extend a huge thank you to all the staff as you are what makes Fitzpatrick Castle what it is, a wonderful venue that has stood the test of time.

Dear Eilish

Thank you so much to you and Syed and all the staff who were involved in making our day so beautiful, everything was amazing, the food, everything.  As you know a lot of our families had never attended a civil ceremony before so they didn't know what to expect and they were so surprised at how lovely it all was, the venue lends itself beautifully to it.  We didn't get to taste the canapes at the drinks reception but we believe they were fantastic!  As for the actual meal, again fantastic and such generous portions, and as you promised no shortage of wine, again we heard back from lots of our geusts.

Thank you also for all your patience with our ever changing numbers over the months coming up to it.  Also the amount of fabulous comments we heard about the bedrooms was unbelieveable.

Please pass on our personal thanks to Syed who was so professional and helpful on the day.  Thanks again for everything and we look forward to coming back for our first anniversary.

We couldn't have chosen a more perfect venue for our wedding.  We chose to get married and have the wedding reception at the Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel - the day from start to finish could not have gone more smoothly.  Syed looked after us on the day and he couldn't have done more, friendly, good humoured and very professional.  The banqueting suites (upstairs where we were married and downstairs for the reception) surpassed expectation, they both looked immaculate.  The food was fantastic; i was very impressed with the quality and presentation considering we had 150 guests to cater for.  We had good weather so we were able to get some fabulour photos in the hotel grounds.  As half the guests came from the UK a lot of people stayed for 2-3 nights and tood advantage of the whole hotel including the Grill Restaurant which does great food, the Library Bar which was always busy and had a great ambience & ambience.  The swimming pool was lovely and also has a Jacuzzi and Sauna.  The Air Coach service was brilliant and used by all guests who had flown over.  Prior to the wedding we were looked after by Alicia, i don't know what we would have done without her, very attentive and helpful.  She was always on hand to offer advice and solutions for all aspects of the day.  All the staff were very friendly and service is always with a smile.  I couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough and if you're planning on marrying in Ireland then look no further as you won't be better looked after.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Ftizpatrick Castle to anyone.  From start to finish both Eilish & Simon made the experience of organising and holding our wedding as stress-free and enjoyable as possible!  Food was fantastic also so another thanks to the Chef!  All our guests had a fantastic time and nobody wanted to leave after our two night stay.  Hopefully we will be back soon.

Just wanted to drop you a quick note to say thank you so much for everything for the wedding.  We had an absolutely spectacular day and the hotel was simply outstanding, the service, the food, everything was just brilliant particularly the food.  Many of our guests commented on the food and it was a really excellent meal so many thanks to the chef in charge that night!!

Fortune who was looking after the function was very attentive and lovely to deal with, she made sure we had everything we needed and also Evelin who was looking after the wine was excellent.  We are really so pleased with how everything went and just wanted to thank you for helping us arrange all the smaller details, i think they paid off on the day, it was just magical!

We got married on 30th December 2010 in the Castle and had a NYE bash the night after in the Dungeon Bar.  Most of our guests stayed both nights and it was the most magical few days.  The rooms were stunning and each guest was made feel so special.  Our wedding suite was beautiful and the perfect place to retire to at the end of each day.

We have been blown away by the staff at Fitzpatricks, from the start Eilish and her team have guided and reassured us.  They organised the most beautiful and perfect day for us.  We had a tough time personally in the run up to the wedding and they were so sensitive and kept things ticking over.  It was like having a huge extended family rallying around us!

Nicky, Eilish and the team made sure that everything was so perfect on our wedding day.  The food and the atmosphere were just incredible and each detail was catered for.  We have just been bowled over by the level of professionalism at this hotel and we look forward to visiting them regularly over a glass of bubbly to reminisce on our special few days.

On behalf of both Tracy & myself i would just like to say an immense thank you for all you and the entire Fitzpatrick's team did to ensure that our wedding day was a most memorable one.  From the planning stage with Eilish to the actual day with Syed, Fortune and the team we could not find a single fault.  From day one Eilish was super efficient and made sure that we had every last detail covered.  She helped ensure that we had not missed anything out too.  A big thank you to Syed as well for all his help on the actual day.  It seemed he was constantly working - from the evening before, on the day and at breakfast the following day.  His personal touch ensured our every need was catered for.  Please also pass on my sincere thanks to my fellow Zimbabwean Fortune who was brilliant at her job!  I did not get to personally meet any of your kitchen team but they probably deserve the biggest thanks of all.  The food was top-notch and still to this day have had people talking about how delicious the roast beef was.  Most of the guests work in hotels themselves so not the easiest bunch to please.
